How to Properly and Safely Clean your Touch Display:

1. Always use a microfiber cloth to clean your Touch Display. 
2. Shut down your display. 
3. Wipe the screen, applying very slight pressure, using straight wipes horizontally across the touch screen. 
4. You can use gentle cleaning fluid designed for monitors, but it is best to use a spray bottle filled with equal parts distilled water and white vinegar. Additional disinfecting can be done with 32% isopropyl alcohol. 
5. Always spray cleaning solutions onto a clean microfiber cloth. Do not spray cleaning solutions directly on your touch display. 
6. When you’re done wiping down your display with your cleaning/disinfecting solution, wipe it again with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. 
7. Don’t turn on the display until the screen is dry.

Solutions by Design asks that you encourage all clients to wash their hands with soap and water and dry them thoroughly before and after using your interactive touch display. Clients can also use alcohol-based hand rub if they don’t have immediate access to soap and water. We also ask that you designate a team member to clean Your Montage Board every day.

Big Fresno Fair, Big Success

We are celebrating another successful event. In October, The Big Fresno Fair in Fresno, California showcased its annual award-winning Fresno County Historical Museum. The annual museum showcases the broader history of Fresno County, providing a place for everyone to learn about and see the diverse and rich history. The Big Fresno Fair is Central California’s largest event, attracting over 600,000 people every year, it is the fifth largest fair in the State of California.

Solutions By Design created a custom experience for fair attendees in collaboration with several Fresno organizations, including The Fresno Armenian Association and The Fresno County Historical Museum.

Solutions By Design designed custom interactive experiences using our Montage Interactive Display board. The Armenian History exhibit attracted those wanting to learn more about Armenian history and their contributions to the Fresno community. Our two interactive digital display boards had a custom interface where users engaged with historical locations and facts.

The two-story museum featured the fair’s newest exhibit that celebrated Fresno Boxing history. Solutions By Design created a custom Montage interface and hardware solution to present the past and present professional boxers in Central California. The exhibit takes you through the rich history of boxing in the Valley, through an interactive display board.

Montage Update: 2.2 - Solutions By Design

We are thrilled to announce that Montage 2.2 is complete and installed in most of our users sites. We have added a ton of functional features but most of the energy was focused upon rebuilding 2.2 on our new platform. This allows 2.2 users the same flexibility and control of 3.2. Enhanced design throughout and added email and text distribution throughout make Montage 2.2 a must.

Calorie Counter Widget Launched

A new feature on Montage Displays has officially launched. The new Calorie Counter Widget for veterinarian hospitals is officially here.

We have added several new widgets to Montage for Vets, including the new RER Calorie Counter. This new dynamic widget allows client, doctors or staff to select the species...dog or cat then slide the scale to the desired weight then select the pets lifestyle.  The algorithm will calculate the rested energy requirements for that pet. We also feature a “client managed” pet food recommendation with email and text ability.

A New Technology: Fresno County Fair and Solutions By Design

Fresno County Fair Historical Museum utilized our Montage Displays and Interface to educate attendees on the history of the Central Valley.

The Fresno County Fair is just one more client utilizing the expertise of Solutions By Design in adding technology to their exhibit experience. Our Interactive Montage Boards present an on-demand presentation of inspirational Fresno individuals and businesses. Each is presented graphically with corresponding text and audio in English, Spanish and Hmong.

Another Fresno local organization to utilize Montage is the Fresno County Armenian Cultural Center. Fresno County Fair kicked off an Armenian cultural display located on the second floor of the museum. Two Montage Boards provide on-demand access to individuals of Armenian descent along with a biographical presentation.
