Facebook Bluetooth Beacon

Facebook has announced a new feature Place Tips. Place Tips is a Facebook mobile feature that allows users to see localized tips and news feeds in and around nearby stores, restaurants, and other businesses. The feature lets users see pictures and status updates from friends who have visited that location before, as well as other relevant information such as posts from the location’s Facebook page and more.

Facebook has recently announced a new offer for businesses. Facebook Bluetooth Beacon for FREE. This offered to a select few business pages, mainly those who are active on Facebook. “Facebook Bluetooth beacons are free for you to use and help people see more information about your business whenever they use Facebook during their visit,” Facebook said on a signup page for the beacons.

What's The Future Of Search?

Before Google there was Yahoo. Before Yahoo there was Alta Vista. Search has come a long way since the early years of the Internet. And with so much more content online than ever before, search engines are finding ways to bring the most relevant information to you as quickly as possible.

Over 80% of people 13 or older in the U.S. have smart phones. Over 40% have tablets. Mobile search, especially mobile search with voice assistance (like Siri and Cortana), is increasing exponentially. And with that is the ever increasing reliance on mobile apps as search platforms.

Across the U.S. population as a whole, most of the time spent on the Internet (via mobile devices) is spent on an average of just three apps. Facebook, Twitter, SnapChat, and others are increasing their features and technology to bring more search results within their apps. Pinterest and Houzz, for example, are apps that many people use to find everyday items and inspiration.

But all of this doesn’t mean that Google is dead or dying. Far from it. It simply means that consumers have many more options in search, and search is evolving to become a necessary and seamless part of our everyday lives – like getting dressed in the morning, or driving to work.

Say Cheeeeese With Montage 3

The third installment of the Montage series is coming and it’s coming with new, fun features. Montage is our interactive display system that allows you to organize, manage and display educational and informational content directly in your office. With Montage 3.0 we are giving you the ability to display and capture even more content. User favorites such as on-demand educational videos, live TV-stream and Reviewer will still be there, but we adding new features you and your patients will love. One of our new features in Montage is our Photo Booth.

Photo Booth is out interactive camera application. In previous versions of Montage patients and staff had the ability to go up to the board and snap a regular photo, but now you can get creative with your snapshots. Whether you are capturing a first day in braces or just an office selfie, the Photo Booth takes pictures to a fun new level.
