How to Properly and Safely Clean your Touch Display:
- Always use a microfiber cloth to clean your Touch Display.
- Shut down your display.
- Wipe the screen, applying very slight pressure, using straight wipes horizontally across the touch screen.
- You can use gentle cleaning fluid designed for monitors, but it is best to use a spray bottle filled with equal parts distilled water and white vinegar. Additional disinfecting can be done with 32% isopropyl alcohol.
- Always spray cleaning solutions onto a clean microfiber cloth. Do not spray cleaning solutions directly on your touch display.
- When you’re done wiping down your display with your cleaning/disinfecting solution, wipe it again with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
- Don’t turn on the display until the screen is dry.
Solutions by Design asks that you encourage all clients to wash their hands with soap and water and dry them thoroughly before and after using your interactive touch display. Clients can also use alcohol-based hand rub if they don’t have immediate access to soap and water. We also ask that you designate a team member to clean Your Montage Board every day.
