Big Fresno Fair, Big Success

We are celebrating another successful event. In October, The Big Fresno Fair in Fresno, California showcased its annual award-winning Fresno County Historical Museum. The annual museum showcases the broader history of Fresno County, providing a place for everyone to learn about and see the diverse and rich history. The Big Fresno Fair is Central California’s largest event, attracting over 600,000 people every year, it is the fifth largest fair in the State of California.

Solutions By Design created a custom experience for fair attendees in collaboration with several Fresno organizations, including The Fresno Armenian Association and The Fresno County Historical Museum.

Solutions By Design designed custom interactive experiences using our Montage Interactive Display board. The Armenian History exhibit attracted those wanting to learn more about Armenian history and their contributions to the Fresno community. Our two interactive digital display boards had a custom interface where users engaged with historical locations and facts.

The two-story museum featured the fair’s newest exhibit that celebrated Fresno Boxing history. Solutions By Design created a custom Montage interface and hardware solution to present the past and present professional boxers in Central California. The exhibit takes you through the rich history of boxing in the Valley, through an interactive display board.

Our custom interactive display board played a large role in bringing history to attendees in an important interactive way, that engages and brings community history to life. View how attendees viewed engaged with Fresno history.

Montage: Visual Trivia in the Works!

Now trending over 2.2 million trivia interactions per year...it is obvious that your clients LOVE TRIVIA. We now feature 111 Trivia Games ranging from US History to Pet Facts...and everything in between.

So, we have decided to up the game plan a bit and offer a new spin on trivia.  We are in the midst of developing 35 new trivia games featuring Visual Questions. Games like NFL Referee Penalty Signals to Name that Brand will include a graphic for your clients to test their knowledge and tease their brains!

Keep an eye out for this update which we anticipate will launch in Q1 2019!

Montage: Competitive Trivia in the Works

We are hard at work developing a new level of Competitive Trivia. How does it work? Your clients can play any trivia game in our trivia library. If they score 10 out of 10...they win and are automatically entered into a monthly drawing for a prize. The prize is announced on the Montage Board with supporting graphics. At the end of the month, we will randomly choose a winner from the 10 out of 10 brainiacks from each practice. That client will receive an email with an attached coupon for the monthly prize!

Of course, like most of the features in Montage each of our users have the ability to activate or deactivate Competitive Trivia as desired.

We anticipate that this new feature will go live on Q1 of 2019 along with our Visual Trivia Upgrade.

Fresno County Athletic Hall of Fame and SBD

The Fresno County Athletic Hall of Fame has selected Solutions by Design to design, program and install an expansive sport exhibit system at the The Save Mart Center on the Fresno State Campus in Fresno, CA. This is a major project featuring a 15” Touch Video Wall, 30 information kiosks an overhead truss system supporting 18 65” Digital displays and more.

The Fresno Athletic Hall of Fame located at the Save Mart Center, home of the Fresno State Bulldogs, will feature a 32” suspended truss system with 16 digital monitors streaming video and action graphics sure to amaze attendees. Programming and content development are under way!

The new Fresno Athletic Hall of Fame is all about the kids. Providing guidance, inspiring Fresno County youth is a key objective of the new Hall. While not every child will be a Hall of Fame Athlete, we anticipate that by providing a dynamic presentation of Hall of Fame Athletes we will inspire today’s youth to achieve greatness in their own way.

Interactive and Technological:

A key component of the new Fresno Athletic Hall of Fame is our interactive, on-demand video kiosks. Each of our stars will present their own story on “how sports influenced their lives”.  We will be adding content each year as new inductees make their way to the Fresno Athletic Hall of fame

Photo Booth Fun with Montage

Everyone loves a fun photo!

The Montage Photo Booth Widget captures hundreds of patient images all upon the patient approval. You can place them anywhere in your office. The Montage board seamlessly integrates from the Montage board to a website. This can greatly enhance website optimization and grow your social media following. It creates user-generated content and an interactive experience for your patients.

Montage Interactive: Advertising and Promotion

There are endless opportunities for our Montage users. One of the latest features is advertising on the Montage boards. Scratch Pay a leading provider of financial services for veterinary hospital clients has entered an agreement to provide promotional sponsorship funds to our Montage clients. Scratch joins the likes of Trupanion, Royal Canin, Virbac, Elanco, Purina and others in promoting their products and services to pet owners and providing sponsorship funds to participating hospitals. Beta testing begins in just a few weeks!

Montage Interactive: New Features

We now feature 123 dog breeds in our dog selector.  You can replace the traditional posted that most practices have hanging on the wall with the Montage Interactive Dog Breed Widget. Each of the 123 have been divided into small, medium and large categories to make access easy.  Each contains data on care, grooming, AKC statistics, and a list of “Problems and Diseases” that that breed would be susceptible to. 

The Dog and Cat Breed Selector now includes a list of Problem and Disease for each breed. Each listed problem or disease is linked to a pop-up that explains the Problem, the Diagnosis and the probable Treatment. Each includes a generic body map and 2 images specific to the problem or disease. Each can be customized and edited to your practice preference.

New Features and More 3D for Veterinarians!

Our newly enhanced Whiteboard library of clinical content is now organized by “Type” of content.  3D Medical Illustrations, Icons, Videos and “My Library allow each user to create their own library and organize each section as desired. 

Our TPLO Procedure 3D animation video is awesome. And the first of many to come. Our Animation department is finishing up on an extensive library of 3D animations on the human side and will soon begin the Animal Series. We are excited about this series as there is nothing like it in veterinary medicine.

Montage Update: 2.2 - Solutions By Design

We are thrilled to announce that Montage 2.2 is complete and installed in most of our users sites. We have added a ton of functional features but most of the energy was focused upon rebuilding 2.2 on our new platform. This allows 2.2 users the same flexibility and control of 3.2. Enhanced design throughout and added email and text distribution throughout make Montage 2.2 a must.
